Retired Winston-Salem elementary and special education teacher has made music in the classroom part of her program throughout her teaching career. Katie accompanies herself on the guitar (harmonica, too!) and has a wealth of participatory children's songs, finger plays, and poems in her repertoire which have delighted children over the years. She also has many colorful posters to illustrate her material.Katie would be happy to come into your home, classroom, church, hospital/rehab facility etc. for music with children from preschoolers to elementary school-age children for any event or setting.
